Hook ‘n Spin – A true fiber addict

I need to take better pics! On the right is the brown alpaca plied with the 50/50 merino and silk to make a sock monkey yarn. On the left is a pink yarn of the 50/50 alpaca and wool I got at the Mt. Bruce Station spring wool festival. The bright teal, blue and white ball of roving is also from the same vendor and is currently waiting for time on the spinning wheel.

I just finished plying sock monkey yarn!  One single was white and othe other dark brown.  I had to give it a lot of twist to make it look striped =, instead of slanted //.  I’ll post pics a little later.
