The busy-ness of it all!

Amid the teaching, learning and general hectic life I lead, I have found such peace in the gentle spinning of my wheel to create the most soothing fiber imaginable.
Recently I met my friend at a wool festival. I picked out a couple bags of wool for myself and she did not see any yarn she wanted, but loved the color wool I picked. So – go ahead and get it, I will spin it! And oh how lovely it turned out, I don’t want to let it go! She really did do a nice job of picking out some fine wool. She made a point of telling me not to spin the perfect yarn and pick out the defects. She wanted the lumps, the thick and the thin without corrections.
